I got my bull "Sixes" back today from last season. I could not have wished for a better outcome on this mount. Big shoutout to Ryan Butler @ryanbutler1 with Reflections Taxidermy out of Helena, MT for the outstanding job with this once in a lifetime bull. "Sixes" holds a special place in my heart, I could not thank you enough for recreating something I can have with ... Read more
Gary WhitbeckNice mount. From experience I know they take up a lot of room and needs spouse approval 😀, but it's a great memory and happy for you.
Since it seems like enough people found interest in my past leather project, here are some progress pics from a leather journal cover I just finished up. I'll post a completed pic on here later! I haven't invested in a leather sewing machine yet so everything gets hand stitched. This one was about 3 hours of stitching alone. Talk about going cross eyed burning the mid... Read more

I love leather working, built an 1859 McClellan saddle once and all the associated tack to boot. I've not done too much over the past few years as I transitioned to wood and metal working but leatherworking is always a good skill to have.
Who likes a good custom cowboy hat? Our team went down to Rocky Mountain Hat Company in Bozeman this past week to get fitted for new hats! I went with an old tried and true. Should be ready for pickup in roughly 365 days. If you need me, I'm going to be waiting (not) patiently like a kid on Christmas until then 🤩.
Quick (4 years in) intro post!
